Kapa Biosystems announces the release of KAPA SYBR^®FAST qPCR Kits, containing a second-generation polymerase evolved for the highest performance in real-time PCR. The KAPA SYBR^® FAST qPCR Kits exhibit industry-leading sensitivity, signal-to-noise, reaction efficiency, and speed.

“The reaction efficiency of qPCR is critical for accurate and reliable gene quantification”, says Dr. Gavin Rush, senior scientist. “Wild-type Taq DNA polymerase is often inhibited by real-time PCR reactions conditions, leading to significant loss in specificity and sensitivity of the assay.” KAPA SYBR^® FAST DNA Polymerase has been engineered to perform optimally in stringent qPCR reaction conditions, exhibiting dramatic improvements in signal-to-noise, cycle threshold, linearity, and sensitivity.
