Hold the cassette with both hands, the notched plate towards your direction.
Open one side at a time:
Press on the larger plate with the thumb and at the same time pull the notched plate by placing the index finger in the finger grip at the top of the cassette.

Step 2

Using your other hand, do the same on the other top corner of the cassette, press on the larger plate with the thumb and at the same time pull the notched plate by placing the index finger in the finger grip at the top of the cassette

Step 3

Completely separate the cassette halves by slowly pulling them apart with your fingers.

Step 4

The gel will come out easy.

Once the gel is free from one of the cassette halves, invert it carefully over the staining, fixing or transfer solution. Using a thin spatula, or delicately with one of your fingers (wear gloves), separate the gel from the cassette wall starting at one corner
